Yes. Peruvian Hearts is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Scholars are selected based on demonstrated resilience, academic achievement, financial need, and character. We identify young women who have the drive and determination to succeed—and who show the potential to become leaders in their communities.
Donations fund direct scholarship support—including food security, safe housing, transportation, and academic materials—as well as the mentorship, psychological support, and academic advising that make the holistic PH model work. We publish our financials so you can see exactly how funds are allocated.
94% of PH alumni are employed in their fields within six months of graduation. 88% provide direct financial support to their households. More than 60% continue to volunteer in their communities. We share scholar updates, program reports, and alumni outcomes regularly.
